Stuart slouched in the backseat of the car, his legs bouncing up and down lethargically, and gazed out at the nothing that wasn’t moving wherever he looked. He had run out of things to do, things to say, things to think about, an hour or so before, and now his mind was desperate, screaming out for something to happen, for something to do. And being just six, there weren’t many options open to him.
