Bruno Bear’s Adventure – Pat Boulton – 650 words (Children 2-5)
Bruno the toy bear was bored just staying in the nursery all the time and wanted to go on an adventure. At first none of the toys in the nursery wanted to go with him, but in the end Peter Rabbit said he would go. They crept out of the house through the cat flap, and had a lovely time, before it was time to go back to the nursery.
Bruno Bear's Adventure
Bruno the big brown furry bear marched up and down the nursery. He was huffing and puffing, and sometimes made a growling sound.
“Whatever is the matter with you Bruno? You are waking all the toys up. For goodness sake stop marching up and down and making all those odd noises.”
