‘Well?’ said Matilda the witch.  ‘Can you fix it?’

The mechanic shook his head.  ‘It needs a drop of rainbow magic and I’m clean out of it.’

‘But I must get my broomstick working,’ wailed Matilda.  ‘I can’t fly anywhere without it and I have to go to my spelling class tonight.  The Head Witch will give me a terrible row if I don’t turn up.’
