Fiona lives in Newburgh, a small town nestled beside the Tay estuary in beautiful Fife. She began writing in earnest when she was a stay at home mother of three. Now her children are older, she is clawing her way back into the work force in (mostly) reception and admin positions and enjoying a new-found independence as a divorcee, which is recorded on her website blog. In her spare time she writes stories in the attic space of her flat on the high street.
Fiona is a published writer of women’s fiction and has completed writing courses, attended writing workshops and belonged to writing groups. She has also facilitated writing workshops and writing groups.
Fiona writes mostly fantasy and historical woman’s fiction but also contemporary short stories and some children’s fiction. Fiona’s compassionate interest in people, her fascination with Britain’s rich and colourful heritage, and her endearment to its picturesque landscape are reflected in her writing.
Fiona’s books include St Alba’s Jawbone a humorous Medieval romp, The Rosemary Thief and The Hand of Glory both Wiccan fantasy romances, Oswin’s Project a humorous family tale all published by Eternal Press, and The Man in the Woods contemporary women’s fiction published through FeedARead
